Ghost are keeping up with tradition by following up a new album with a whole host of covers of classic tracks.
It has been nearly 5 years since the legendary lead vocalist of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, passed away. But the surviving members of the band are doing everything in their power to keep his memory alive. Today, the group unleashed Meteora|20 featuring an outstanding 89 tracks to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of their sophomore album Meteora. In celebration of the release of Meteora|20, Linkin Park are hosting a global fan Q&A livestream. This news comes after the band shared previously unreleased tracks from 2003, such as “Lost” and “Fighting Myself“. These tracks were released to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the album. Fans can submit questions via video and experience the live conversation on Monday, April 10th. Tragedy shook the metal community this past Friday evening when the roof of the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, IL collapsed during a show. At the time, the venue was hosting Morbid Angel, Revocation, Crypta, and Skeletal Remains for the “United States Tour of Terror.” While the featured acts were between sets, a tornado ripped through the area and consequently, the venue.
