The Catalyst Publicity Group & Keep A Breast have teamed up to release Yuletides & Stage Dives, a donation based compilation with all proceeds going to the Keep A Breast Foundation. Bands on the compilation include A Loss For Words, This Century, Driver Friendly, Balance and Composure, Pentimento, Bad Rabbits, and more.
Braid and Balance & Composure will release a split EP via No Sleep Records on February 26, 2013.
From Indian Lakes’ newest release Able Bodies gathers up all its sharp edges, gentle hooks, and vulnerable subject matters and ties them together in a beautiful package. The variation keeps each track interesting and memorable while still staying in line with the rest of the songs.
Tegan and Sara have released a karaoke filled music video for the song “Closer”. The track comes off the duo’s upcoming album Heartthrob out January 29th.
The Wonder Years release Sleeping on Trash: A Collection of Songs Recorded 2005-2010 through No Sleep Records on February 12th, 2013. The album consists of 18 tracks featuring various rarities, original demos, and cover songs.
Silverstein will release their seventh studio album This Is How The Wind Shifts on February 5th, 2013 via Hopeless Records. The band has also announced an extensive tour in support of the album throughout North America and Europe.
Pentimento have self-released their debut full-length album for free after having to cut ties with Paper+ Plastick Records and Black Numbers due to legal action that was threatened by former label Panic Records.
The Used will headline the 2013 Take Action Tour with support from We Came As Romans, Crown The Empire, and Mindflow. In addition to the tour, Sub City/Hopeless Records will release Take Action Volume 11 on January 8th.
NBC will air a benefit concert on its networks on Friday at 8 PM ET and money collected from the program will be donated to the American Red Cross relief efforts to help aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Performers include Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, and more.
