The Maine Share Beautiful Cover Of Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer”

Our favorite Arizona band, The Maine have shared an incredible cover of “Cruel Summer” from Taylor Swift’s Lover album. The cover starts with soft, roomy guitars before pushing forward into a synth-driven chorus. John O’Callaghans vocals are somber and beautiful as always. Burke’s effortlessly powerful vocals intertwine with delicate guitar… Read more »

The devastating and emotional track shows the band tugging at our heartstring, as well as their own. This new song comes after a batch of newer tracks included on their 20th anniversary reissue of Tell All Your Friends, titled Twenty. Before that, the band hasn’t released new music since their 2016 album, Tidal Wave. Does this mean we will be getting a new full-length soon? We sure as hell hope so.  Speaking on the new song, the band shared:… Read more »
