San Francisco’s Worth Taking are making run of the mill pop punk—with a little bit of an infectious beat and a whole lot of guitar riffs. While their sound might have been done before, the real focus of their new album Hangman is how each of the 12 songs correlate with the 12 step program.
Every so often, a band comes along with a familiar lyric or guitar riff that forces you to make a comparison to another band you love.
Listening to new music can sometimes feel like déjà vu; many bands tend to stay within the comfortable bubble of their genre. Waterparks’ EP Cluster burst that bubble and the outcome is five songs that are both refreshing and infectious.

From their United Kingdom roots to their California home, rock band Charming Liars has been creating tracks that are enjoyed world round since 2012. Recently, they stopped by our offices to for an exclusive performance.
From the minds of Anthony Purpura and Katie Cecil comes Wayfarers. The combination of the two who are from both New York and Los Angeles, translates to some pretty stellar tunes.
