talker is back with her newest single, “Easygoing.” This is the first taste of what to expect from her anticipated debut album that drops later this year. The music video for it is a slow descent into obsessive, delulu energy that contrasts the catchy, poppy tune. With this latest single, she enters her singer-songwriter, girlie-pop era with hypnotic guitars and soft vocals. Celeste Tauchar, the creative mind behind talker, says that while it’s her favorite piece of music she’s worked on so far, it’s “one of the scariest to release.” It isn’t due to the relaxed tone that counteracts the… Read more »

As we continue to celebrate Black History Month by empowering and amplifying the voices in our music community, it’s crucial to remember that embracing diversity—whether that includes people of color, women, nonbinary individuals, or LGBTQIA+ voices—is essential every day and not just throughout the 28-30 day monthly calendar period designated for celebrating these individuals. We caught up with the empowering, progressive, pop-punk three-piece Meet Me @ The Altar on February 1 while they were performing in Cleveland, Ohio, to chat with them about diversity and the celebration of marginalized voices. The four-piece, self-proclaimed “heavy pop” ensemble, The Home Team, has unleashed their latest dance-worthy single, “Loud,” accompanied by a cleverly satirical new music video. The new release marks the group’s first since signing with Thriller Records earlier in the year. Distinguished by the group’s amalgamation of infectiously groovy guitar work, commanding basslines, and the captivating vocal range of Brian Butcher, “Loud” is an exhilarating experience and a damn good time. Complementing the pulsating energy of the track is a satirical music video, cleverly parodying directors and harkening back to the nostalgic vigor of VH1 Classic programming. The video serves as… Read more »
Kanner jokes she is sporting a “low-key, under the radar look” as she demands the room in bulky, bright green shades, a full body camouflage jumpsuit, and her iconic red locks in high braids. A prolific and well-respected writer with accolades all across the music industry, she notes that she is feeling “fucking amazing” now that she has released music of her own.
