The visual is oozing with a vintage inspired atmosphere that creates a technicolor fever dream for the viewer. According to a Deadline report, Warner Bros. has confirmed the theatrical release date for the highly anticipated ‘Beetlejuice 2’ sequel, which will arrive on the same date as Marvel’s ‘Blade’ on Sept. 6, 2024. Fans of the 1988 cult classic have been clamoring for a sequel for years, and they are finally getting their wish granted. In a surprising move during the trio’s Detroit, MI performance last night (May 9), blink-182 played a snippet of Taylor Swift‘s 6x platinum song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” following a performance of their own hit single, “Dammit.” The unexpected mashup is quite a tongue-in-cheek moment for the group considering guitarist Tom DeLonge’s return to the band in 2022 following his initial departure in 2015. Following the release of the group’s first “happy song in the Wrist catalog,” Teenage Wrist has issued their latest effort, “Diorama.” “Diorama” showcases the duo’s signature shoegaze sound through an amalgamation of alternative rock, psychedelic synths, and heightened euphonious melodies. The track is led by a muddied, down-tuned acoustic guitar creating a somber soundscape reminiscent of 90s grunge.
