Simple Plan Gets Gold Album For Christmas


New York – Five piece punk superstars Simple Plan are celebrating the holidays with two RIAA certifications. The band’s brand new album, Still Not Getting Any…which was released six weeks ago on October 26th, is officially Gold, signifying sales of 500,000 units or more. Simpson to Release Christmas CD and DVD


New York – It’s beginning to look a lot like Jessica Simpson for Christmas. Columbia Records will release “ReJoyce: The Christmas Album” and the “Jessica Simpson Reality Tour Live” DVD on Nov. 23. Tracks on the album, named in honor of her grandmother, Joyce Adams Simpson, include “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)”; “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” a duet with her husband, Nick Lachey. Blink 182, Bosstones, New Found Glory Set For Christmas Album


Blink 182, the Mighty, Mighty Bosstones, and New Found Glory are among 20 artists set to appear on the Santa Clause ’03, a Christmas-themed benefit album scheduled for release on November 11, according to Billboard.com. Sharon Osbourne to Give Christmas Speech


Sharon Osbourne is to go head-to-head with Queen Elizabeth II when she delivers an alternative festive season message on television on Christmas Day. Arriving in stores Tuesday is 8 Days of Christmas, a new holiday album from the trio Destiny’s Child.
