The Acoustic Basement stage on Warped Tour has been in existence for a few years now, and when it isn’t Warped season they bring it out on the road for the Acoustic Basement tour. Now they’re headed across the pond for the Acoustic Basement UK tour and it’s got a fantastic lineup: Geoff Rickly (Thursday), Koji, Rob Lynch, and Brian Marquis. Check out the dates below!
After being broken up for nearly 2 years, Basement has decided to reunite. The band’s last album Colourmeinkindness was released in October of 2012, and the band played their last shows that November. The Vans Warped Tour Acoustic Basement Tour is back for another year. This time around it will feature stripped down performances from Transit, Hit The Lights, Brian Marquis, and Front Porch Step.
The Acoustic Basement Tour will occur in February and feature Geoff Rickly(Thursday), Vinnie Caruana(I Am The Avalanche/The Movielife), A Loss For Words, Koji and Brian Marquis(Therefore I Am).
Colourmeinkindness is a force to be reckoned with. Working with producer Sam Pura (The Story So Far, The Limousines), Basement have given it their all in what will be their last effort before going on hiatus.
On March 8, The Summer Set invited up a very special guest to perform at their Nashville show at The Basement East. The Cab frontman Alex DeLeon took to the stage to sing “Young” from Love Like This. The band shares, “First time singing together in 12 years. Shout out to [Alex] from The Cab for joining us on stage in Nashville for a real throwback!” Excitingly, The Summer Set is on the road now, and The Cab is gearing up to release their forthcoming record, Chasing Crowns, on April 24, with a tour to follow.
