Losing yourself in a ten-hour marathon of your favorite tv show is always fun, but it’s even more fun when you suddenly wake from your reverie at the sounds of some unknown, perfect song emerging from the speakers. For this week’s Tuesday Ten, we asked our writers about ten songs they fell in love with after hearing them on tv.
We posted about the Fearless/Hopeless Records mashup album that SoundCloud user Dr Brixx released, but we stumbled across another mashup that sounds all too familiar to our pop-punk honed ears.
My buddies in Boys Like Girls call into The Gunz Show and discuss their upcoming full length, when it will come out, the direction they’re taking for it, as well as their forthcoming tour with The All American Rejects and The Ready Set. Anarchy, My Dear, the fifth and latest full-length studio album from Say Anything, may not be your favorite album in the band’s discography, but you will find your new favorite Say Anything song on it. What this album lacks in consistency, it makes up for in standout tracks that are some of the greatest we’ve heard from the band.
