The latest Instagram update from Garrett Nickelsen of alternative rock band The Maine isn’t quite what it seems. At first seeming to be a screenshot of a conversation between Nickelsen and band frontman John O’Callaghan, it didn’t take long for fans to realize the supposed phone number of the vocalist was left in clear view in the photo.
The Maine will release a new full-length record, American Candy, later this spring. The band announced The American Candy Spring 2015 Tour, a full North America tour with support from Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, and The Technicolors.
The Maine have released a music video for “Runâ€, the third track taken from their deluxe release of ‘Forever Halloween’, which came out on June 17th.
idobi managing editor Eleanor Grace caught up with Garrett Nickelsen and Kennedy Brock of The Maine at the Vans Warped Tour’s Toronto stop to talk about the tour, branching out musically, the 8123 family (including hints about their latest signing), and much more.
John O’Callaghan from The Maine recently called in to The Gunz Show to talk about gearing up for another run of the Vans Warped tour. He also discussed the deluxe edition of Forever Halloween, and of course the ol’ debauchery that is his life.

The Maine will release the Forever Halloween Deluxe Edition on June 17th, 2014.
The album will be available digitally worldwide and physical copies will be sold exclusively on The 2014 Vans Warped Tour.
The Maine have announced a headline UK run of their 8123 tour this October, joined by Lydia and Nick Santino.
Although somewhat predictable, Imaginary Numbers is a highly impressive five-song effort that once again displays The Maine’s burgeoning maturity and musicianship.
