This week is my final episode here on Idobi Radio, I’m calling it a day to focus on more music, I may be back in the future when I have more time to do this show, but I’d like to thank everyone that’s been on the ride, and thanks to Idobi for pushing me into doing a show for them in the first place. This week, I have a new project that I’m playing for called MERCY MUSIC, we’re going on tour all over the place in 2024, and on this weeks episode, we play LIVE, even the mistakes are left in there (haha), I find out more about the band I’m about to be playing with, and we share stories from the road amongst other things. Young Rising Sons want to take you to “(Un)Happy Hour.” The Brooklyn act released a music video for the bubbly track. With a catchy chorus and bright guitars, the indie-pop rockers are tapping into a sound that’s almost nostalgic while reflecting on past experiences. It follows the band throughout New York City and how they can go from feeling great with a full box of pizza to being down in your feels once it’s all gone. Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties have unleashed their latest single, “Whiplash,” a somber turning point for the 16-person ensemble’s forthcoming full-length In Lieu Of Flowers. The 11-track record will arrive on April 12 and can be pre-ordered here. Opening through an array of gentle, melancholy instrumentation, Dan Campbell’s (The Wonder Years) vocals pierce through the cacophony of sound. Keeping things cryptic, twenty one pilots are teasing their next single, “Next Semester,” off of their forthcoming full-length, Clancy. The duo posted on their Instagram two photos showcasing, presumably, vocalist Tyler Joseph’s legs and drummer Josh Dun’s arm resting on a cymbal, along with a “leaked” video snippet of a crowd while they perform the song.
