idobi editor Eleanor Grace caught up with La Dispute frontman Jordan Dreyer at the Toronto stop of the band’s North American tour for an in-depth chat about everything that went into their new record Rooms of the House, how they challenged themselves creatively this time around, and what they’ve learned over the past almost ten years of being a band.
Having recently wrapped up Memphis May Fire’s Unconditional Tour, veterans A Skylit Drive are back and better than ever. Their newest record Rise is the most successful release in both the band’s and label Tragic Hero Records’ history. Vocalist Michael Jagmin sat down with idobi writer Alex Rudisill as the tour came to a close to discuss the band’s latest endeavors.
In the past few years, Harrisburg, PA’s Koji has become just as well-known for his activism, unrelenting positivity, and the intimacy of his live shows as he has for his recorded music. He just arrived home from an extensive North American co-headliner with labelmates Turnover, and idobi editor Eleanor Grace caught up with him at one of the tour’s final dates to talk about how the past two months on the road have treated him, working with a full band, his thoughts on the scene, and how this tour has seen him reclaim his voice.

But in the upcoming clip for “The Ghost of You,” the Goth punkers are ditching all things refined and donning drab Army fatigues.
