On a brand new episode of The Rockstar Dad Show, Jaret and Gary invite Fred Mascherino to the mic. You might know him from Taking Back Sunday or his solo work as The Color Fred—but did you know he’s a rockstar dad too?
After his son was born right before he had to play a show, Fred has learned a lot about balancing family life and a music career. He chats with the guys about joining Taking Back Sunday and how his family led to that decision, adjusting to touring while having kids at home, and leaving the band years later.
This EP shows raw honest vulnerability and an intimate insight into Dieden’s inner workings, while making us wish we were dancing in a crowded concert venue with our fists in the air.

Rae Harvey is one the top music managers in the Australian Music Industry. She managed HUGE Australian band, the Living End and 360, and also brought out acts to Australia such as Blink 182. She’s literally done everything and is an absolute legend.
After working in the music industry for over 25 years, Rae hit an animal driving and had a massive self realization… she needed to work with animals. From that moment on, she pursued her dream to one day own a kangaroo sanctuary and eventually set one up in New South Wales.
The devastating Australian fires earlier this year saw her entire Kangaroo Sanctuary and home burn down. Over a billion animals were killed in the fires. Kangaroos, Wombats, Koalas and thousands of other species. Absolutely devastating. Rae almost lost her own life in the fires, narrowly escaping by boat thanks to being rescued by a neighbor. She has since returned to the property to rebuild and look after the kangaroos, many of which returned injured after the fires. We tell her story.

On this week’s episode of The Rockstar Dad Show, the guys have a lot to be excited about. Not only is it the first football Sunday of the year, they’re also recording a new Bowling For Soup album in the Poconos.
Listen in as they share what they’ve been up to since they left for the studio, talk about how their kids handle losing, and buy some Robux. Later, they’ll bring brothers Ted and Rob Felicetti to the air.
Ted might not technically be a dad, but he does have a cat and we’re calling that close enough. Jaret and Gary reminisce on old memories with him and talk about getting his band, Don’t Panic, back together after ten years.
Rob plays bass for Bowling For Soup and set up their destination recording (with a couple lies about the air conditioning situation.) Hit play below to hear their chat!
