Former My Chemical Romance frontman, Gerard Way, has announced the release date of his debut solo album. The collection, titled Hesitant Alien, will be released on September 30th. The news comes on the heels of the release of the album’s first single, “Action Cat”. Way has also unveiled the tracklist and a teaser video, both of which can be found below.

Death Spells, consisting of Frank Iero (formerly of My Chemical Romance) and James Dewees (formerly of The Get Up Kids, etc.) will play 3 tour dates on the east coast with The Architects. Check out the dates here.
Blink-182 will set out across North America this summer on the Honda Civic Tour. My Chemical Romance will be co-headlining most of the dates with additional support from Manchester Orchestra, Rancid, Against Me!, and Matt & Kim.
If The Black Parade was My Chemical Romance’s take on the 1970’s over the top opera rock concept album, then Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is the band’s attempt at recreating the 1980’s synth laden rock and roll.
