Germany Hosting a Concert as a Corona Experiment

What would you be willing to risk for some live music? Scientists in Germany will be holding an indoor concert next month as a giant COVID-19 experiment. On August 22nd, 4,000 concert goers will head to a concert hall in Leipzig to watch pop artist Tim Bendzko. The volunteers, aged between 18 and 50, will be asked to wear a chain around their neck with a “contact” tracer that sends out a signal to detect movement and the amount of people they come in contact with. They’ll also be given hand-sanitizer that will be traceable through UV lights after the… Read more »

Ozzy's Ratings Low In Germany As P.O.D., Lenny Kravitz Thrill Festival – Review

You know you’re a long way from home when Groove Armada and Faithless play for wilder crowds than the godfather of heavy metal. “I can’t f-ing hear you!” is Ozzy Osbourne’s standard concert rallying cry, but it took on a new urgency Friday night at the kickoff of the three-day Rock Im Park festival in Nuremberg. As the 53-year-old showman peered out at the half-full Frankenstadion, his famous baffled expression – mouth agape, black-lined eyes open wide, arms extended as though desperately soliciting a hug – looked a bit more confounded than usual. Of course the metal madman delivered, leading… Read more »

Rockers Comastatic and Point North have officially joined forces on their new song “PRIMITIVE,” out now via Hopeless Records. Previously, Comastatic released a collab with Melrose Avenue, “24Seven.” Comastatic says of the track, “‘PRIMITIVE’ is a voice for anyone facing the fight of their life. Whether it’s illness, trauma, or watching someone you love go through it, it captures the chaos, the exhaustion, the numbness, and the raw hope that somehow survives underneath it all. This song speaks to the ones who’ve felt powerless, poisoned, or broken and still found something worth holding on to.” Both artists are touring this… Read more »

Departing from previous sonics, Bad Omens takes a significantly softer approach to “Impose,” with delicate synths and somber, yearning vocals from Noah Sebastian. “I tried to settle in a life of relevance/But I long to be lost/And I tried to sever it, walked to the precipice/To the sound of applause,” he vulnerably sings. One-Hit Wonder Band Disses YUNGBLUD & Aerosmith’s Ozzy Osbourne Tribute

At the 2025 VMAs this past weekend, YUNGBLUD joined Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt to honor Ozzy Osbourne—The Prince of Darkness—through the thing he loved most: music. Introduced by Ozzy’s son Jack alongside his children, the tribute ripped through “Crazy Train” (complete with the iconic “All aboard!”), Black Sabbath’s “Changes” (the same song YUNGBLUD performed during Ozzy’s final show, Back To The Beginning), and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”  The performance left the audience—including Ariana Grande—in awe, but not everyone shared the sentiment. The Darkness, best remembered for their fleeting 2003 hit “I Believe In A Thing Called… Read more »

YUNGBLUD Offers Dazzling Ozzy Osbourne Tribute At VMAs

YUNGBLUD, in our totally unbiased opinion, was one of the most iconic performers on the recent September 7 Video Music Awards show. The performer showed up and showed out in his trademark black leather pants and donned a black leather coat as he offered a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. In fact, Jack Osbourne introduced the performance alongside his children. The singer also wore Ozzy’s iconic cross necklace, kissing it before taking center stage. YUNGBLUD kicked off the performance with “Crazy Train,” which even included the iconic “All aboard!” He then elegantly switched modes into Black Sabbath‘s “Changes,” the same piece… Read more »
