The Wonder Years basically took over the world this year, playing everywhere from arenas in North America with A Day To Remember to small shows in some of Europe’s less-visited countries. idobi photographer Gaelle Pitrel was there for the latter when the band hit La Maroquinerie in Paris last month along with their friends in Handguns.
A Loss For Words have released a music video for “The Kids Can’t Lose” off their recently released album Before It Caves. Female-fronted power metal quintet Huntress recently wrapped up a tour with metal titans Testament, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God, who they’ll be heading to Europe with in the new year. Frontwoman Jill Janus plays hardball and is certainly one of the boys. Classically trained and positively wicked, Janus sat down for some girltalk with idobi writer Alex Rudisill at one of their final dates with such a legendary lineup.
Below is a new video from You Me At Six for the latest cut off of their new record Cavalier Youth, “Fresh Start Fever.” It’s out January 27th. Embarking on their biggest tour yet, punk rock youngsters The Story So Far are still fresh off Warped Tour and are heading back across the pond with A Day To Remember this winter. At the halfway-mark of the tour in Philadelphia, idobi writer Alex Rudisill spoke with bassist Kelen Capener on their rising success, the tour’s progress, and introducing their love of hardcore to their fans.
