Simple Plan brought their latest “Iconic” collaboration with Jax to the 2023 When We Were Young Fest stage. On the October 21 festival date, Rise Against performed “Swing Life Away” from 2004’s Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture with some help from Yellowcard‘s William Ryan Key. Goldfinger took to the When We Were Young Fest Stripe stage to play all the hits, including their beloved ska hit “Superman,” but this time, with a special guest. Retired professional skateboarder Tony Hawk came onstage to help John Feldmann with some vocals for the song.
