Storied punk rockers Bayside have issued an anthemic new single, “Castaway.” The new single marks the group’s first new music since 2023’s The Blue EP.

Frontman Anthony Raneri shares of the new release, “I think ‘Castaway’ is one of the most exciting songs that we’ve written in 24 years. We really wanted to keep the listener on their toes and on the edge of their seat. We hope that between the fast pace, odd timings, and metaphors that as soon as it’s over, you need to listen again”

Bayside has also announced The Worse Things Than Being Alive Tour with a full list of U.S. dates and a stacked lineup. Emo staples Finch, Armor For Sleep, and Winona Fighter will offer support.

The tour begins on April 3 in Pittsburgh at the Roxian Theater and concludes on May 5 at Boston’s Roadrunner.

In a recent Instagram post, Armor For Sleep wrote, “We go way back with both Bayside and Finch-can’t wait to share the stage with them again.”

Additionally, rising Nashville-based punk ensemble Winona Fighter shared a thank you to all the love regarding their tour announcement on their Instagram story. “We are so excited and cannot thank [Bayside] enough,” says Coco, the band’s lead vocalist, who also recounted her time seeing the band as a teenager in the Instagram story.

Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages are currently live without a password barrier. Bayside VIP packages will uniquely come with a toy action figure set of the band. Additionally, you can grab general tickets beginning on Friday, January 26 at noon ET. Grab your tickets here and check out the full run below.
