Following a handful of singles, Bayside vocalist Anthony Raneri has released his alt-country solo EP, Everyday Royalty, via Equal Vision Records. In honor of Hopeless Records turning 30, Bayside has covered The Weakerthans‘ “Aside” for the label’s Hopelessly Devoted To You compilation album. The song originally appeared on The Weakerthans‘ 2000 LP Left and Leaving. Bayside is back with their new single, “The Devils.” It’s off of their upcoming album, There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive, which comes out on April 5 via Hopeless Records. With a haunting aura mixed with their traditional punk sound, the act ushers in a darker phase.
