The Netflix show “Trinkets” has been given the green light for a second and final season as of July 29, 2019. The show, which stars Brianna Hildebrand, Kiana Medeira, and Quintessa Swindell, will return with a new showrunner, Sarah Goldfinger, to replace Linda Gase. There hasn’t been any explanation or speculation regarding the change. With the announcement, Trinkets promises to answer unanswered questions from season one. That’s something to look forward to in 2020.

“Why Women Kill”, a new dark comedy created by Marc Cherry, premieres on CBS All Access Thursday, August 15. The show will be available weekly on the direct-to-consumer digital subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service. Starring Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste the show follows the fall out after infidelity taking place in the same house in 3 separate decades. Jojo Rabbit, a new film from “Visionistical” director Taika Waititi, comes to theaters on October 18. If you’re not excited then it’s just because you haven’t seen the trailer. Jojo, a young boy in Hitler’s army has his racist and nationalist beliefs challenged when he finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. In the film, Waititi plays Jojo’s imaginary friend Adolf Hitler. Yep, it’s weird, hilarious satirical perfection weird.
