Rain City Drive has reimagined their latest single, “Frozen,” via Thriller Records. The alt-hardcore act originally released the single in September but has given it an almost holiday-edge decoration to it. The first version was featured on Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock playlist. Reworking songs isn’t new; however, the band incorporated post-hardcore sounds with poppy beats and melodies in “Frozen (Reimagined)” while sprinkling in some holiday belles, which helps in slowing down the quicker pacing of the original. Following the release of their eighth studio album, 152, Taking Back Sunday has announced their massive 2024 North American tour. After releasing their second collaborative track “Happier,” YUNGBLUD and Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes shared the song’s official music video. The hyper-pop anthem perfectly combines the two artists’ goth, emo vocals with high-energy beats and synths, offering a refreshing twist for fans. “If I could tell you how I feel/I know that you’re still hurting too/No I’m not broken/I’m just scared to belong here/Scared to be happier,” the two urgently sing on the chorus. To celebrate a decade of hits such as “Can You Feel My Heart” and “Shadow Moses,” the band is doing a limited reissue of vinyl and cassettes.
