Pop Star Timberlake Eyes Duet With Britney Spears

The cute superstar couple that sings together, stays together. That’s the plan of ‘N Sync heartthrob Justin Timberlake, who wants to duet with his pop princess girlfriend Britney Spears, according to Rolling Stone magazine. Timberlake, 20, told the magazine he is helping 19-year-old Spears move away from her hugely popular bubblegum pop in favor of a harder sound. When the timing is right, he envisages them recording together, a collaboration he vowed would be “huge.” “I want it to be somethin’ new that they haven’t heard us do, that they didn’t think we could do. I feel like we still… Read more »

Mick Jagger Finds A Muse In Britney Spears

“Mick Jagger Influenced By Britney Spears!” – a headline from the Weekly World News, home to stories about boy/bat hybrids and 200 lb. babies born with Hitler moustaches? Nope. The Rolling Stones’ frontman is recording his fourth solo album, tentatively scheduled for release this fall, and it looks like the LP will offer some interesting surprises, one of which was inspired by teen pop’s reigning diva. “Mick’s daughter purchased the Britney Spears record, and Mick apparently heard Spears’ version of his song ‘Satisfaction’ through the walls of her bedroom,” said Courtney Barnes, publicist for Rodney Jerkins, who produced the track.… Read more »

Kasteler said that Spears, 19, and Timberlake, 20, were both in “great health” and hard at work: Spears recording a new album and Timberlake on tour… Read more »

The world was treated to “Gimme More” this summer. But Perez Hilton may have given his readers too much, too soon. Spears Handpicks A Brave New Britney

People sometimes say Britney is the new Madonna, but then who’s going to be the new Britney? Ms. Spears had a hand in deciding that for herself recently, when she helped cast “Brave New Girl,” an ABC Family film adapted from the book she wrote with her mom. The story, adapted from Lynne and Britney Spears’ book “A Mother’s Gift,” is based on the singer’s life but is fictionalized a bit so that it becomes more about the relationship between the mother and daughter than the rise of Spears’ star. In the film, the Britney character, named Holly, wants to… Read more »
