Last week we published our official top albums of 2013 list, featuring everyone from The Wonder Years and Fall Out Boy to The 1975 and Vampire Weekend. Lots of complicated math and science were involved in calculating the final list, but we thought we’d let you have a look at all of our individual staff lists as well.
The kind folks over at Purevolume are streaming the fantastic new record from States, Paradigm, here. For those not familiar, States are composed of members from Lydia (Mindy White) and members from Copeland (Jonathan Bucklew, Stephen Laurenson, Brian Laurenson, and Dean Lorenz). Paradigm is their second record, their first being Room to Run, and it was recorded in both Nashville and North Carolina and was entirely self-produced. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order it over at their merch store.

One of the most solid up and coming bands out there is From Indian Lakes. Seriously, the more music they put out the better they get and I’m stoked to be able to speak with Joey from From Indian Lakes.They’ve toured with The Dangerous Summer, LYDIA and other bands and Joey discusses their recent signing with Triple Crown Records as well as touring plans for the fall.
