Incubus are counting down the thirty-three days left until the release of their fourth album, Morning View, by releasing one track every Monday morning. EnjoyIncubus.com will feature one song at promptly 11 a.m. PT, which will remain on the site the entire week. Incubus To Break "Morning"


Incubus will release their fourth album, Morning View, on October 23rd. Working once again with producer Scott Litt, the band told Rolling Stone that the new material is “some of the heaviest music we’ve ever written, at the same time some of the most beautiful we’ve ever written.” A video shoot for the first single, “Wish You Were Here,” is planned for next month, and there will be pressure for Incubus to outdo themselves, as their video for “Drive” (from 1999’s Make Yourself) is up for Best Group Video at September’s MTV Video Music Awards. TV on the Radio’s Gerard Smith Dies of Lung Cancer


TV on the Radio bassist Gerard Smith has died of lung cancer, the band announced on its official website Wednesday.

“We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and bandmate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer,” the band’s statement reads. “Gerard passed away the morning of April 20th, 2011. We will miss him terribly.”
