Papa Roach, Ja Rule, Shakira To Salute Aerosmith


Papa Roach, Ja Rule, Shakira, Nas, Sum-41, and X-Ecutioners have joined the lineup for MTV’s upcoming mtvICON salute to Aerosmith. As previously reported, Kid Rock, Train, and Pink will also perform Aerosmith songs at the event, to be taped April 14 in Los Angeles and airing three days later on MTV. Inaugural mtvICON honoree Janet Jackson will offer a testimonial, as will Fred Durst, Dana Carvey, Method Man, and frequent Aerosmith video star Alicia Silverstone. Papa Roach's New "Tragedy"


Papa Roach will release the follow-up to their triple-platinum debut, Infest, on June 25th. The album, lovehatetragedy was produced by Brendan O’Brien, who’s worked with Pearl Jam and Rage Against the Machine. Next month, the band will head to Atlanta, where singer Coby Dick – who is now going by his birth name, Jacoby Shaddix – will finish recording his vocals. The track listing is still tentative, but the album is expected to be finished by March. Morissette, Korn, Papa Roach join Caracas festival


Canadian singer Alanis Morissette, U.S. bands Korn and Papa Roach, and Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters will be among the featured stars at the Caracas Pop Festival in March, organizers said on Friday. The second annual edition of the festival – which last year attracted Oasis, Sting and Christina Aguilera – will take place in a 35,000-seat open-air stadium near Venezuela’s steamy Caribbean capital Caracas. Papa Roach Crawl Into Studio


Sacramento quartet Papa Roach will enter the studio this fall to record the follow-up to last year’s debut, Infest. Brendan O’Brien, who has worked with Ringo Starr drum beat so it”s called ‘Ringo,’ and there’s another called ‘AA.’” As a result of Papa Roach meeting various artists via summer music festivals, Buckner says they’re considered bringing guests into the fold. ” Bjork would be cool,” he says. “Tobin’s been writing these songs, and you could almost hear Bjork’s voice singing harmonies on it.”

Papa Roach Drummer's Wrist Holding Up Well, Band Heads To Europe


A wrist injury sidelined Papa Roach drummer David Buckner on the group’s Raid The Nation tour earlier this year. Papa Roach DVD Due In Fall


Papa Roach will release a DVD this fall. The work is intended to serve as a companion piece to their break-out, triple platinum album Infest. The DVD will be a rock-umentary of sorts chronicling the past two years surrounding P-Roach’s success. It will include behind-the-scenes footage, TV appearances and the “Last Resort,” “Broken Home” and “Between Angels and Insects” videos. The band is inviting fans to contribute their own personal VHS footage of all things Papa Roach, including live bootlegs of shows, backstage shots, themselves at a concert, or simply telling the camera what Papa Roach means to them. Papa Roach Working On New Album On The Road


Papa Roach is taking advantage of the downtime on OzzFest to work on the follow-up to its double-platinum 2000 DreamWorks debut album, Infest. Papa Roach Cancel Second Leg Of Raid The Nation Tour


Papa Roach have cancelled the second leg of their Raid the Nation tour because of a wrist injury sustained by drummer David Buckner, according to the band’s publicist. The 13-date second leg of Raid the Nation, which was to include openers Fear Factory and Alien Ant Farm, was scheduled to begin April 24 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wind down May 11 in Phoenix. Papa Roach Planning To 'Raid The Nation'


Alt-metal act Papa Roach will hit the road in March on what the band has dubbed the Raid The Nation tour. Supporting will be Orgy and Alien Ant Farm, the later being the first signing to Papa Roach’s New Noize imprint. The tour will kick off March 17 in New Orleans.
