*NSYNC's Bass & Backstreet's Richardson Carry Olympic Torch In LA


Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson and *NSYNC’s Lance Bass were among approximately 100 celebrities and everyday heroes that carried the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic torch as it made its way through downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday (January 15). Bass used the torch to ignite a cauldron on the back of a pickup truck. The truck carried the flame from Orange County city Costa Mesa, approximately 50 miles south of Los Angeles, to L.A.’s Olvera Street, where runners resumed the relay. ‘NSYNC were the public’s preference for Favorite Musical Group at the 28th People’s Choice Awards, while folks favored a more country feel for their favorite individual artists. The pop quintet received one of only three musical awards doled out Sunday at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Faith Hill and Garth Brooks were named Favorite Female and Male Musical Performers. NSYNC cut from Star Wars


It may just be the shortest movie career of all time. NSYNC were to star for just 1/2 second in the Star Wars movie ‘Attack of the Clones’ but their scene has been dropped. The band filmed their part a few weeks back. Joey Fatone of NSYNC called up Carson’s radio show on Florida station 93.3 FLZ. Fatone confirms the band filmed their part but after the media attention their 1/2 second of fame was receiving, the scene was dropped from the movie.
