The music video, directed by Nick Stafford, is simple, but positively stunning. The Arizona five-piece is gearing up to release their self-titled, ninth studio album this summer. Our favorite Arizona band, The Maine have shared an incredible cover of “Cruel Summer” from Taylor Swift’s Lover album. The cover starts with soft, roomy guitars before pushing forward into a synth-driven chorus. John O’Callaghans vocals are somber and beautiful as always.
