Lady GaGa becomes just the third artist in the 16-year history of the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart to collect three No. 1 songs from a debut album. “LoveGame” (Interscope) rises 2-1, marking Lady GaGa’s third No. 1, following “Just Dance” (two weeks) and “Poker Face” (five weeks). The three songs appear on her top five Billboard 200 album, The Fame. The set has sold 1,162,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In early 1984, when Epic Records executives presented their slate of upcoming releases at the convention in Hawaii of parent company CBS Records they couldn’t resist playing up the success they were experiencing. Michael Jackson died Thursday afternoon, June 25th, at the age of 50 after suffering cardiac arrest. Reports say the legendary pop singer suffered cardiac arrest at his home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills and was not breathing and had no pulse when paramedics arrived after a 911 call around 12:26 p.m. PT. Bruce Springsteen’s “Working On A Dream” topped the weekly album charts with 224,000 first week sales according to Nielson Soundscan. But his concert fans were at the center of a controversy sparked by a Ticketmaster campaign pointing buyers to higher priced seats at their own resales broker TicketsNow even while regular seats were still available. The Fray just demoted the Boss. One week after Bruce Springsteen scored the first No. 1 debut of the year, the Denver rockers displaced him  with their eponymous sophomore release. The Fray sold 179,000 for the week ended Sunday,  per Nielsen SoundScan to 102,000 for Springsteen’s  Working on a Dream at No. 2. Fall Out Boy announced today that they believe they set the Guinness World Record for the Most Interviews On Radio In a 24 Hour Period By A Pair of Two (final certification to come from Guinness World Records after receiving documentation) with 72 radio interviews.
