Fans of Taking Back Sunday may want to pay attention to this. Vocalist Adam Lazzara has decided to go a slightly different route for a recent compilation EP, I Surrender Records Presents: Our Voices. It’s decidedly more folk and Americana influenced, and if you’re interested in giving it a listen, his new music video for “Because it Works” premiered today over at Rolling Stone. Diamond Youth have launched a pre-order for their upcoming Shake EP out February 4th via Topshelf Records. The EP was recorded with Brian McTernan(Senses Fail, The Movielife) at Salad Days studio in Maryland. The band have also posted a video for the track “Can’t Shake The Feeling”, which can be viewed below. At a time when many bands would rather stick to trends than take a risk, Peace’d Out shine as something fresh that hopefully won’t be another one-and-done side project. The members take elements from each of their respective bands and put a collective spin on things, creating a sound all their own.
I got to speak with my good friend Vinnie from The Movielife, I Am The Avalanche, and now Peace’d Out about the upcoming Peace’d Out project, the status of the songs, if there will be any touring. Also, what lies ahead for IATA.
