The Early November have released a rough version of “Close To You”, the first of new material for the band since 2006. The track comes off the upcoming album In Currents which will come out via Rise Records on July 3rd.
The Early November will be releasing In Currents through Rise Records on July 3rd. In late May, the band will embark on a headlining tour with support from The Wonder Years, The Swellers, and Young Statues.

At their reunion show last night in New Jersey, Early November frontman Ace Enders announced that the band will be recording a new album to be released on Rise Records.
LOS ANGELES, CA – Drive-Thru Records recording artist THE EARLY NOVEMBER has announced that upon completion of the current tour dates, the band will go on an indefinite hiatus. In a statement issued by the band, the reasons for the hiatus are not the result of disparity amongst the band members. Simply, “As we grow older, priorities change. On tonight’s The Gunz Show, Early November frontman Ace Enders revealed that the band have songs written for their new album and are looking at a summer release date.
Billboard just hosted their No. 1 2024 Party on November 18, and music’s biggest stars from all genres shared a few exciting notes about current and upcoming projects. In fact, alternative artist Landon Barker, son of blink-182‘s Travis Barker, shared that a new single, “Run,” is on the horizon. “I’m working on a bunch of stuff right now,” he tells interviewer Rania Aniftos. “I have my next single, it’s called ‘Run,’ definitely coming early, early, early next year.” Barker also adds that he had many different musical inspirations throughout 2024, but feels like “Run” is his best song yet.
