Marking their second new single of the year, Boston Manor has unleashed the intricate, riff-driven “Sliding Doors.” Led by a guitar-heavy arrangement and amplified by frontman Henry Cox’s unmistakable prowess, the track is a reflection of the group’s past, present, and, ultimately, future. Their new single follows the release of “Container” in February. According to Cox, the track shares its namesake with the 1998 Gwyneth Paltrow-led film Sliding Doors. The movie depicts Paltrow’s lead character, Helen Quilley, in two alternative worlds where the decisions she makes on a single day inform the rest of her life. Boston Manor’s latest single… Read more »

This emotional goodbye was only worsened and cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. These unforeseen setbacks added an extra layer of emotion to what was already a deeply sentimental farewell, leaving fans grappling with uncertainty about the band’s future and the possibility of bidding them a proper goodbye.… Read more »

Better Lovers played their first ever shows, two back-to-back, in Buffalo last week. It was absolute chaos, to say the least.

“I used to put you first and always leave myself behind and I’ll admit you got real close, but I’ll be sleeping fine tonight. Sorry I don’t mean to disappoint you. You didn’t ruin my life” I’m a sucker for nostalgia (I am a millennial after all). So when I think of Simple Plan, I like to think back to the 6th grade and being introduced to pop-punk music by listening to “Welcome to My Life”; or everyone losing their minds when one of their songs came on at a high school dance. For those bands that you’ve loved for… Read more »
