Way back in 2006, Paramore recorded an acoustic rendition of “My Hero” originally by the incredible Foo Fighters. Now, the cover has finally hit streaming services all these years later. Not sure what took them so long to make this decision, but we sure are happy about it. Along with the acoustic version, Paramore also released an electronic mix as well. Kelly Clarkson, the multi-talented singer, and host of The Kelly Clarkson Show, has performed a heart-wrenching rendition of Paramore’s 2009 single “The Only Exception.” Clarkson’s powerful performance on her morning segment, Kellyoke, offered a stripped-back cover of the hit single accompanied by Jaco Caraco’s delicate, acoustic strumming to create an intimate and captivating soundscape. The annual Boston Calling festival will return for its ninth year at Harvard Athletic Complex this May. Spanning across three days, Boston Calling will be held Memorial Day weekend from May 26-28, and today, they have announced the set times for the upcoming three-day event. With anticipated headline performances from Foo Fighters (Friday, May 26), The Lumineers (Saturday, May 27), and Paramore (Sunday, May 28), there will be several major overlapping sets. Paramore‘s performance, which is scheduled to close out the festival on Sunday evening, will substantially overlap with Aussie rockers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
