MxPx Get Promotional Help From George W. Bush, Emily Bronte


Lots of artists hype their songs in movie soundtracks and TV ads. Positive punkers MxPx do that too, but they’re also relying on the Bush administration to help get the word out. “Well Adjusted,” one of the songs from their new album, Before Everything and After (September 16), is being used in a TV public service announcement by the President’s Council on Drug Abuse and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. “It’s a huge part of history and it’s still as good a comedy as anything out there,” MxPx lead singer Mike Herrera says of Animal House. MxPx Do "Everything" New


MxPx will release Before Everything and After, their first album in three years, on August 19th. MxPx Prepare To Release New CD


Punk Rock trio MXPX is releasing, TEN YEARS AND RUNNING May 21, 2002 on Tooth & Nail Records. The CD is a collection of nearly 20 tracks of MxPx’s finest material including 2 brand new songs (“Running Away”, “My Mistake”) along with a re-recording of the classic “Punk Rawk Show.” The new songs were tracked by the band at their Clubhouse Studios in Bremerton, WA and mixed by Tim Palmer (U2, Pearl Jam) who also remixed 14 of the other songs.
