On June 21, 2011, Less Than Jake are unleashing a whole lot of energy by way of a four DVD digipack called Anthology on the band’s own label, Sleep It Off Records. With over eight hours of music spanning six records, Anthology is a collection of live performances of each of the band’s albums in sequence.
Less Than Jake will be re-releasing their classic albums Losing Streak and Hello Rockview on March 1, 2011. In support of the re-releases, the band will be kicking off in mid-January and circling around the U.S. in preparation for some big plans in 2011.
The Warped Tour, the annual traveling festival that targets the Vans-wearing, emo-loving youth of America, has recently announced the lineup for their 2009 caravan. As usual (and because the event is celebrating its 15th anniversary), the lineup combines older acts like NOFX, Less Than Jake and Bad Religion with newer artists like 3OH!3 and Black Tide. Less Than Jake, currently riding high with their radio hit “The Science Of Selling Yourself Short,” took time out during the So Cal swing of the Warped Tour to play the grand opening of the Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA on July 11th. Members of Glassjaw, the Used, Less Than Jake, Mest and Story of the Year sat down on couches in the New Media lounge of Warner Bros. Records and shot their fans Wednesday morning.
