The Wonder Years vocalist announces solo project: Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties


Dan “Soupy” Campbell of The Wonder Years has announced his solo project Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, whose debut album We Don’t Have Each Other will be released on July 8th through Hopeless Records. Campbell worked on the album with Ace Enders (The Early November) as producer. Tool Tap Fantomas For East Coast Tour


While West Coast Tool fans will be treated to King Crimson as show openers, those on the East Coast will be primed by the sonic antics of Fantômas. Though an itinerary is still being plotted, Fantômas, fronted by former Faith No More frontman Mike Patton, are tentatively scheduled to begin their three-week stint with Tool on September 22, according to an Ipecac Records spokesperson. Westlife Set To Rock Jakarta Under Tight Security


Irish boy band Westlife will rock Indonesia’s capital on Thursday under heavy security as police take no chances following the death of four fans in a stampede when another band toured Jakarta in March. Organizers said 2,000 security personnel including police would guard the 15,000-seat concert stadium in central Jakarta, along with 200 paramedics backed up by a number of ambulances and fire engines for the late afternoon event.
