The third annual Today’s Mixtape Festival will take place March 29th and 30th at 89 North in Patchogue, NY. Put on by East Coast Collective, the festival will also be expanding to the West Coast this year with the help of Bake Shows. It will take place at the Oakland Metro in Oakland, CA kicking off with the Pure Noise Records 5th Anniversary on March 21st and continuing the festival the 22nd and 23rd. Columbia Records Group has named A&R veteran Tim Devine to head up its Santa Monica-based operations as West Coast general manager. Devine, who reports to Columbia chairman Don Ienner and president Will Botwin, also will hang on to his post as senior vice president of A&R at the Sony Music label – a position he has held since signing on at Columbia in 1996. The executive will continue signing and developing artists on the West Coast, but also now will act as a liaison to the region’s creative community, cultivating contacts in the music, film and TV worlds. Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties are ready to hit the road throughout the U.S. and the UK this spring. Recently, the 16-person ensemble released the title track of their forthcoming record, “In Lieu Of Flowers,” marked by euphoria-inducing horns, eclectic orchestral strings, and even an accordion. Last Night Tove Lo took to the stage on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside SG Lewis to perform their new collaborative song “Call On Me” from her most recent album Dirt Femme.
