The Jonas Brothers have postponed Sunday’s shows in Monterrey, Mexico until July 31 because of the H1N1 flu that virtually paralyzed the country. That’s no Abercrombie & Fitch advertisement – according to the Jonas Brothers’ official fan site and the band’s pre-order page, it’s the cover for the JoBros’ new album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, out June 15th. While the trio’s previous album, A Little Bit Longer, put the band in suits and a rain-soaked fluorescent-bulb-lit cityscape, Lines, Vines finds the casual Jonas crew leaning over what it is undoubtedly a pick-up truck. They may have only been up for one award on Saturday night at the Kids’ Choice Awards, but the night definitely belonged to the Jonas Brothers. A who’s who of teen stars were on hand at the 22nd annual awards show, hosted by Dwayne Johnson. LOS ANGELES (Billboard) — Nearly two weeks after the premiere of Disney’s “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert” film, the sibling music act has unveiled dates for a world tour. The 44-date North American leg begins June 20 at the Dallas Cowboys New Stadium in Texas and wraps Aug. 31 at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. Before the North American arena dates, the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 will play a handful of dates in South America in mid-May and head to the United Kingdom and Europe in early June.
