The Jonas Brothers Taylor Swift and Lionel Richie will ring in 2009 from Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” They will perform live during the ABC broadcast, joining Clark in New York along with his co-host Ryan Seacrest the network announced. Kellie Pickler also will be on hand in Times Square with live reports on the festivities. The Jonas Brothers want to work with Elvis –the  wannabe Elvis, that is. Nick Jonas revealed at yesterday’s American Music Awards that he and his singing siblings think they may have a future in hip-hop. “We think Kanye [West]’s new record sounded really cool, so that’s someone,”  Nick said when asked who they’d like to team up with. The Jonas Brothers will perform during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys’ nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game against the Seattle Seahawks. The band will officially kick off the 2008 Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas campaign at the November 27 contest. The fundraising drive continues through Christmas Eve. Since its partnership with the Cowboys, which began in 1997, the annual Red Kettle campaign has raised more than $1 billion, helping the Salvation Army serve 30 million people each year nationwide.
