Hostage Calm will release Please Remain Calm via Run For Cover Records on October 9th. The band will also be heading out as support for tours with Into It. Over It. and Streetlight Manifesto this fall.

Bad Religion, the Vandals, Good Charlotte, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards, and NOFX are among the more than 50 acts set for the 10th anniversary edition of the Vans Warped Tour. The trek, which will begin June 25 in Houston, will also feature New Found Glory, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, the (International) Noise Conspiracy, Simple Plan, Bouncing Souls, and Coheed & Cambria. Tickets for the Vans Warped Tour are set to go on pre-sale starting Thursday, March 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The first 1,000 fans who purchase tickets for the traveling tour will receive a copy of the 2003 Vans Warped Tour double CD compilation, which features songs from bands on this year’s festival. The CD is distributed through Sideonedummy Records. The tour starts June 19 in Boise, Idaho and wraps up August 10 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. U2’s activist frontman Bono will not be traveling to Iraq, despite recent reports that such a trip was in the works. “There is no truth whatsoever to this story,” a spokesman from RMP London, the singer’s publicity firm, said on Thursday (January 9). “Bono continues to campaign for many issues relating to debt, AIDS, and trade in Africa but he has no involvement in this issue and no plan to visit Iraq,” the spokesperson said.
