As Underoath prepares to kick off the They’re Only Chasing Safety 20th Anniversary Tour later this month, the group has shared their biting new single, “Teeth.” “With our new track ‘Teeth,’ we dove into a pretty exciting territory for me—something I’ve always wanted to explore with this band but never felt was possible,” Chamberlain shares. “It almost has a vibe reminiscent of classic hip-hop samples or something that Linkin Park might have done, which I find so cool. I never imagined we’d actually pull it off in an Underoath song, but it came together so naturally. Lyrically, the song puts… Read more »

Grade: C+ Basically: A harsh slice of the truth about being Black in America. In reflecting on the Netflix adaptation of American Son, I’m reminded of a line from A Few Good Men, “you can’t handle the truth.” I’m not being glib. This one is all about hard truths. And by maintaining the four-actor, stormy night, one-room structure of the Broadway play, the film focuses you on its honesty in a way that may be hard to take in. Or, worse, easy to dismiss. But try not to do that. Playwright Christopher Demos-Brown and Tony Award® winning director Kenny Leon… Read more »

Speaking of reunion tours, You may just need to secure your tickets to The Dillinger… Read more »
