Fat Wreck Chords has announced its 25th anniversary celebration tour, Fat Wrecked. The tour will feature NOFX, Lagwagon, Swingin’ Utters, The Flatliners, Masked Intruder, toyGuitar, and Bad Cop/Bad Cop, plus more to be announced.
The Fest 14 announces initial lineup for its 2015 festival weekend in Gainesville, Florida, on October 31st and November 1st. The festival expects to announce 100 more bands in the coming months.

Green Day, Bad Religion, and Blink 182 are among the bands that will appear in a forthcoming documentary about the punk rock music scene in the 1990s. Australian independent production company Robot Academy Films is producing the film, One Nine Nine Four, which is slated for a 2008 release. The two filmmakers have been residing in Los Angeles conducting interviews and collecting archival footage of the bands before heading back to Australia next month to complete the editing process, according to PunkNews.org. Drummer Derrick Plourde – a founding member of Southern California punk band Lagwagon – and Hideaki Sekiguchi – who slapped the bass for Tokyo garage-punk band Guitar Wolf – both died Wednesday, news that sent shockwaves throughout the underground punk rock world. Plourde was 33, and Sekiguchi was 38.
