Back in December, Lydia announced that they would be heading out on a 2014 tour where they’d be playing their much-loved album Illuminate in full. They’ve now revealed those tour dates, which kicks off at the end of February in Tuscon and ends over a month later in Austin, Texas. Lydia just announced a spring 2014 tour, featuring the band playing their record Illuminate in full. The band posted the following on the band’s Facebook account: We are very excited to announce that we will be performing our record, Illuminate, from start to finish this spring. Despite the dark name and odd artwork, Devil is the cheeriest effort Lydia has released to date, and it will be a mainstay for those warm days and chilly nights by the fire this spring and summer.
Lydia have released a new single called “Knee Deep” from their upcoming album Devil, which will be available March 19. They have also announced a tour in support of the album.
We sat down with Lydia frontman Leighton Antelman in Toronto to talk about their tour with The Maine, their most recent album, dealing with the pressures of coming back after their hiatus, and much more.

Lydia frontman Leighton Antelman has revealed that he will be reuniting with drummer Craig Taylor to record a new full length album this summer. The band have been on hiatus since May of 2010, but Antelman explained in a statement to Alternative Press that he was eager to get the break over with.
