Point North has announced that their second full-length album, Prepare For Despair, is dropping on August 18 via Hopeless Records. Marking three years since the release of their debut record, Brand New Vision, the California-based trio is back with a fresh collection of songs that takes listeners on a journey into the apocalypse. Beauty School Dropout has released a reimagined version of their single “one night stand you” via Verswire. The original version is off of their latest album, READY TO EAT. Last week, they released a black-and-white music video for the track. Vocalist Colie Hutzler is authentically raw in his delivery. The horror genre has certainly made a mainstream comeback in recent years with the box office success of films like Hereditary, Nope, A Quiet Place, and M3GAN. Iconic comedy rock duo, Tenacious D are back after a 5 year hiatus to bring fans their newest track, “Video Games“. The goofy song packs a lot of punchlines for only being a little over a minute in length. The joke here is that the band is too old to play video games, except for every once in a while, of course.
