Michael Bohn Joins Issues On Stage To Perform During Farewell Set

Issues Fall 2023

Marking the end of an era, Issues held their final show on January 28, which was one of two back-to-back performances in Atlanta, GA. Throughout this farewell tour run, Brian Butcher of The Home Team has assumed vocal responsibilities alongside the steadfast trio of Skyler Acord, Josh Manuel, and AJ Rebollo. However, during the January 27 show in Atlanta, GA, fans were treated to a monumental moment in the band’s sendoff. Michael Bohn, one of the band’s original lead vocalists who parted ways in 2018, took to the stage alongside the three remaining members to deliver a bone-crushing performance of the group’s 2012 breakout EP, Black Diamonds, in its entirety.

As if these farewell shows weren’t bittersweet enough, one user captured the moment perfectly. User @JordanMel23 tweeted, “Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how the energy in the room shifted when all he did was walk on stage?”

Following Bohn’s six-song performance with his former bandmates, including electrifying renditions of “Love Sex Riot” and “Princeton Ave,” last heard live in 2017, the group closed out their set with “Hooligans.” As they exited the stage, *NSYNC‘s “Bye Bye Bye” blasted through The Masquerade.
