Returning to the When We Were Young stage, Simple Plan has once again put on an infectiously memorable performance in Las Vegas, NV. Pop-punk royals Mayday Parade just made this fall Friday a little brighter with the release of their new track and accompanying music video for “Miracle.” Preceded by 2023 singles “More Like A Crash” and “Got Me All Wrong,” “Miracle” takes a deep look at mental health struggles and how it’s sometimes hard to talk about your feelings with your support systems. The lyrics “Hold me close, don’t let me go/Hold me close like I need a miracle,” sung by Derek Sanders gently intertwine with subtle, inviting guitar rhythms. Emerging in the wake of their compelling dual EP releases, MoonEater and SoulEater, which debuted earlier this month, Magnolia Park entered the idobi Studios in North Hollywood with a mission. Their goal? To create a lush sonic temple for vocalist Joshua Roberts’ infectious voice to bounce off of in tandem with the group’s guitarists, Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, armed with their acoustics.
