If Bring Me The Horizon is serving the “Kool-Aid,” we’re guzzling it down. The UK titans have officially issued their first new single of 2024 and the first new music since their longtime keyboardist/percussionist Jordan Fish parted ways with the group last month.

The fiery new single, featuring obvious callbacks to the group’s metalcore roots, pulsates with anthemic energy, embellished with gritty synths and masterfully crafted instrumentation. From the intricate riffs and crashing breakdowns to the commanding drive of the drums, every element converges into a powerful listening experience. Oli Sykes‘ guttural screams and captivating vocals soar above it all, culminating in an irresistibly catchy chorus.

The track follows the releases of the group’s latest offerings, “DArkSide,” “LosT,” and “AmEN,” all of which will appear on the group’s forthcoming installment of the Post Human series. The band was originally scheduled to release the second installment, POST HUMAN: NeX Gen, on September 15, 2023. Unfortunately, the release was delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to the band’s official statement. As of publishing, BMTH has not announced an official album release date, although preorders for the album’s merch notes, “Due for release Summer 2024.”

Today, February 28, the band delivered the beautifully cinematic accompanying music video for “Kool-Aid.” Check it out below.
