In an official announcement shared on the Bring Me The Horizon Instagram earlier today, December 22, 2023, the group revealed their decision to part ways with Jordan Fish, who served as keyboardist, percussionist, and backup vocalist, among other roles. Since joining the UK outfit in 2012, Fish has played a crucial role, contributing his expertise to three full-length albums, notably 2013’s Sempiternal, 2015’s That’s The Spirit, and 2019’s amo. The departure marks a significant chapter in the band’s evolution, and fans reflect on Fish’s impactful tenure with the group over the past decade.

In the band’s official statement, they write, “Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish. We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile, we continue to work on ‘Nex Gen,’ with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January.”

Additionally, following the band’s statement release, Fish shared his gratitude toward the band. He writes, “I’m really grateful for my 11 years with the band and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together. I look forward to hearing what they do next and wish them every success in the future. I’m excited to start this next chapter in my career.”

After experiencing the group’s electrifying performances throughout the summer alongside headliners Fall Out Boy on the So Much For (Tour) Dust, fans have expressed their disappointment since learning about Fish’s departure from the group.

One Instagram user commented on the band’s most recent feed post, “Jordan was the second most important member of the group. Without his backup vocals and production, I’m just not sure it’ll be the same. This really hurts.”

While another added, “Can’t believe Jordan isn’t in the band anymore.”

Fish has not shared any posts to his personal Instagram feed since August 6, 2023. However, fans have still flocked to his last post to wish him well, with one fan sharing, “Hey Jordan! Hope you’re doing well! Just heard about you parting ways with BMTH, and although I am very sad, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you’ve done with the band. You are one of the most important things that happened to BMTH (and, I dare to say – to the music in general).”

They continue, “Your contribution will never be forgotten. I hope everything is okay and wish you a brilliant future with your new projects and your beautiful family. You will always have a special place in BMTH’s fans hearts. Personally, I have been following your journey in the band since 2012 and couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve done and achieved! Stay happy and creative, and have fun with your new adventures. Love from Brazil.”

We at idobi Radio wish Jordan Fish and Bring Me The Horizon nothing but the best! We look forward to seeing the next chapter of BMTH unfold and to see where Jordan takes his career next.
