After nearly two years, Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco fame has re-appeared onstage. This time, this singer took to the mic for the I Love LA Eaton Fire Relief benefit show, which took place on February 8 at the Glendale Presbyterian Church. Each ticket purchased directly helped the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.

Here, Urie showed off his jazz stylings with a cover of “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin, whose opening lines say, “Smile, though your heart is aching/Smile, even though it’s breaking.”

Many fans shared and reposted clips of the performance such as TikTok user @_alyssayung_ who said, “EVERYONE WAKE UP HE’S BACK & playing at a benefit concert !!”

One user Tweeted, “I need Brendon to make a comeback with a jazz album as Brendon Urie, not panic.”

Bright Eyes, Andrew Bird, David Longstreth (of Dirty Projectors), Delicate Steve, Ethan Tasch, Jim James, Jeff Parker, Gregory Uhlmann, Anna Butterss, Katie Gavin, Kelcey Ayer, Kevin Morby, and many more artists offered their talent for the benefit show, too.

This marks the first performance since Panic! At The Disco’s final stop AO Arena in Manchester on March 10, 2023. Though, Panic! has not taken their final bow as they are set to appear at the 2025 When We Were Young Festival as headliners alongside blink-182.
