Recent Pure Noise Records signees Ben Quad are gearing up to release their 5-track EP Ephemera on October 25. On October 7, the band revealed the title track of their forthcoming record, which was preceded by “You’ll Get Nothing And Like It” and “Your Face As An Effigy.”
The band shares that “Ephemera” is the “the boiling point of the record. All beauty and happiness in the world seem to be tainted by capitalism (“Why does every flower wilt away?”). We, as victims of a negligent system, can only ask ourselves why we continue to accept perpetual cruelty. The final chorus of the record is a proclamation that we are nothing more than disposable in the eyes of our supposed protectors.”

Beginning on October 9, the band is performing shows with Prince Daddy & The Hyena, Heart To Gold, and CLIFFDIVER. Then, Ben Quad will be joining the Pure Noise Records Tour alongside Microwave, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, and Just Friends this fall. The tour kicks off on October 29 and will run through November.
