Albany-based punk rockers Prince Daddy & The Hyena just announced an expansive headlining tour across the U.S. beginning in October. The tour kicks off on Oct. 9 at Denver’s Oriental Theater and wraps up on October 28 at Memphis’ Growlers. Ben Quad has announced that they’ve inked a deal with Pure Noise Records and they’ve released their label debut single, “You’ll Get Nothing And Like It.” “It’s a song about the financial institutions created to keep us in a cycle of debt and dependency,” the band shares in a press release. “The track’s spoken line ‘You were made to throw away’ announces the main theme of the forthcoming record. The Nashville-based punk rock label, Pure Noise Records has announced the second installment of their Dead Formats compilation albums. Dead Formats Vol. 2 will see many bands from the Pure Noise Records roster covering classic songs across the punk and rock genres. The album will drop on September 15th and holds an impressive fifteen tracks in total. So far, three tracks have dropped.
